What are your hours of operations?

We are open daily.
Schoolnights from 5:30 to 12:00 (kitchen until 11:00)
Friday & Saturday from 5:30 to 1:00 (kitchen until midnight)
The full menu is on offer as long as the kitchen is open, all week.
The Big Jibne is available after 9:00 on schoolnights, 10:00 on Friday & Saturday.

Where is La’ Shukran located?

Our address is 417 Morse St NE, Second Floor Alley Entrance, Washington, DC 20002.
Enter in the back alley between Morse Street and Florida Avenue. Listen for the music and find the stained-glass green door.

Is parking avaialble?

Parking can be limited in the Union Market district, but there are nearby public parking options and street parking available. View parking locations here.

Is there a dress code?

No dress code - come as you are, habibi.

When do you have DJs at La’ Shukran?

We have DJs on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Occasionally, we host DJs from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM on the Rooftop Garden.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we offer gift cards! You can purchase them in-person at La’ Shukran or online here.

Do you have merch? Like hats, matchbooks, etc?

We sell La’ Shukran shirts and hats at YELLOW Union Market, downstairs from La’ Shukran.
We’ll be restocking matchbooks soon, habibis. So stay tuned!

Do you have online playlists?

Yes, we release curated playlists on La’ Shukran’s Spotify.

When can I get the Big Jibne burger?

The Big Jibne is available after 9:00 pm on schoolnights, 10:00 pm on Friday & Saturday.

Is your meat halal?

Select proteins at La’ Shukran are halal. Since the menu changes frequently, we recommend reaching out in advance
to confirm halal offerings for your visit and notifying your server upon arrival. Please email us at kifak@lashukran.com.

Do you have vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free options?

Yes, we have a variety of vegetarian and vegan options on our menu. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies,
including gluten, however exceptions are sesame, nightshade (peppers & tomatoes), and allium (onion, garlic).
Please reach out to us in advance at kifak@lashukran.com and inform your server of any dietary restrictions.

Can I bring my own bottle of wine?

We’re happy to allow corkage, habibi - two bottles maximum. $30 for the first bottle and $50 for a second bottle.

Is La’ Shukran ADA accessible?

La’ Shukran is only accessible via a long staircase with a hand railing.

Are pets allowed in La’ Shukran?

We love pets, but unfortunately we cannot allow them inside the restaurant.

Is La’ Shukran family-friendly?

Kids are welcome. Please note that the music is louder inside, and we do not have kid menus or high chairs.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations are released on a rolling 21-day schedule with a new day available each night at midnight.

Does La’ Shukran accept walk-ins?

We encourage walk-ins for the 13-seat bar where the full menu is on offer, and we’re happy to seat guests in the dining room if a table becomes available.
Our weather-contingent 40-seat Rooftop Garden is also available for walk-ins and reservations. If the sun’s shining, we’ll open some same-day reservations around 1PM on Resy
and leave plenty of space for walk-ins. The Rooftop Garden is small bites & drinks only.

Is there La’ Shukran carryout?

Unfortunately, habibi, La’ Shukran is dine-in only.

Do you allow large groups?

Due to the intimate size of the restaurant, La’ Shukran’s maximum party size is 6 guests.
