What are your hours of operations?
We are Thursday through Sunday.
Schoolnights from 5:30 to 12:00 (kitchen until 11:00)
Friday & Saturday from 5:30 to 1:00 (kitchen until midnight)
The full menu is on offer as long as the kitchen is open, all week.
Where is La’ Shukran located?
Our address is 417 Morse St NE, Second Floor Alley Entrance, Washington, DC 20002.
Enter in the back alley between Morse Street and Florida Avenue. Listen for the music and find the stained-glass green door.

Parking can be limited in the Union Market district, but there are nearby public parking options and street parking available. View parking locations here.

We sell La’ Shukran shirts and hats at YELLOW Union Market, downstairs from La’ Shukran.

Select proteins at La’ Shukran are halal. Since the menu changes frequently, we recommend reaching out in advance

Is your meat halal?
Yes, we have a variety of vegetarian and vegan options on our menu. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies, including gluten,
however exceptions are sesame, nightshade (peppers & tomatoes), and allium (onion, garlic).

Do you have vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free options?
Can I bring my own bottle of wine?
We’re happy to allow corkage, habibi - two bottles maximum. $30 for the first bottle and $50 for a second bottle.
Is La’ Shukran ADA accessible?
La’ Shukran is only accessible via a long staircase with a hand railing.
Are pets allowed in La’ Shukran?
We love pets, but unfortunately we cannot allow them inside the restaurant.
Is La’ Shukran family-friendly?
Kids are welcome. Please note that the music is louder inside, and we do not have kid menus or high chairs.
How do I make a reservation? What about the rooftop? Cancellations?
Reservations are released on a rolling 21-day schedule with a new day available each night at midnight. Guests can create, change, or cancel reservations via Resy.
When the forecast looks favorable, reservations for the rooftop may open up to three days in advance. Please check our Resy page for the latest updates on outdoor seating.
Please note: There is a $25 per person cancellation fee for cancellations within 24 hours. For further questions or inquiries, please contact kifak@lashukran.com.
Our weather-contingent 40-seat Rooftop Garden is also available for walk-ins and reservations. If the sun’s shining, we’ll open some same-day reservations around 1PM on Resy
and leave plenty of space for walk-ins. The Rooftop Garden is small bites & drinks only.
Does La’ Shukran accept walk-ins?

Unfortunately, habibi, La’ Shukran is dine-in only.
Reservations are available at the bar for the first seating of the night.
After 7:30 PM, the bar becomes first-come, first-served until fully seated. Once at capacity, a waitlist will be started in the order guests check in at the host stand.
While waiting, we are happy to provide standing cocktail service.

Due to the intimate size of the restaurant, La’ Shukran’s maximum party size is 6 guests.
